Malia's interest in DJ'ing started during High School when she noticed her cousins taking on mobile gigs and forming a crew called CREAM (Collecting Respect Educating All Minds) Foundation but it wasn't until after 2002 that she started to take DJ'ing seriously. Malia's music, style & talent always leaves a lasting impression with her audience and listeners. With an emphasis on blending and producing a clean set, she is determined to keep people in the groove and the ladies on the dance floor. Malia joined the Stacks Vinyl family in 2004 and since then has had more opportunities than most DJ's to learn about music history, practice the skills from world renown DJ's and network with people who bring out the best in what she loves to do. Along with promoting events and artists, Malia uses her role as a DJ to influence all ages and females with a passion for music to participate in positive related activities. By starting the first and only show called the Bonita Applebum Show which was ran by all females on Earthbound Radio and hosting free female DJ workshops through Stacks Vinyl, Malia has made a growing impact on many artists and DJ's today.
